I was asked to remove the lacquer and refret this mex strat neck. The owner found the neck too sticky and wanted some fatter frets so out with the frets and a off with the lacquer.
It’s now feeling silky smooth and had some bigger frets.
A long job but well worth it, the owner is over the moon with it 🙂
